Updating your XYZprinting da Vinci Jr. 1.0 firmware is a simple process. Follow the steps below carefully to ensure a successful update.

The Update prozess is nearly the same for Junior and Mini series. Here is the examlpe for Junior 1.0.

Step 1: Download and Install Print R2 2.0.23

Visit the following link to download the latest version of Print R2: https://www.fabistron.de/sortiment/xyzprinting/da-vinci-jr-1-0/

After downloading the software, follow the installation instructions to complete the setup on your laptop or PC.

Step 2: Power on and Connect the Printer via USB

Turn on your XYZprinting da Vinci Jr. 1.0 printer. Use a USB cable to connect the printer to your laptop or PC.

Step 3: Start Print R2 Software

Once your printer is connected, open the Print R2 software on your computer.

Step 4: Initiate the Firmware Update

In the Print R2 dashboard, you will see an UPDATE NOW button. Click on it to start the firmware update process.

Step 5: Wait for the Update to Complete

The update will take approximately 1 to 3 minutes to complete. During this time, do not disconnect the printer or turn off the computer.

Once the process is finished, your printer will automatically restart. After the restart, Print R2 will display the updated firmware version. You can also verify the new firmware version in the printer’s menu.

Your XYZprinting da Vinci Jr. 1.0 is now successfully updated and ready for use!
